US PROPERTIES SELLS SEEHUND BUILDING

US PROPERTIES SELLS SEEHUND BUILDING

Susan Howard and Connie Howard of US Properties SOLD 341 Bank Street in New London for $575,000.  The 6,500 square-foot building that contains The Seehund German Pub & Restaurant and two apartments on 2nd floor has been sold to a New York investor.  Ken Klaffky, principal of GAK Properties, LLC, paid $575,000 for the building.  The building had previously housed Ye Olde Tavern for generations. Sellers were Steve “Stash” Schiavone and his wife, Lucy.    The deal closed October 15, 2015.  When asked whether he intended to renovate the property, Klaffky said, “We’re just going to sit. We’re fixing what we need to fix.”  Susan Howard of US Properties represented the sellers in this transaction, while Connie Howard of US Properties represented the buyer.  City-based attorneys involved in the sale were Pat Modzelewski and Michael Sheehan.
